The outer edges of Sun's Spire is surrounded by hot grasslands and scattered trees. The mountainous ring created a hotter zone within it; it being a desert. Sun's Spire was named for its year-round heat wave, the heat being more intense the closer you get to the tower with the desert ring. The desert ring often becomes deathly cold during the night, while the outer regions remain safe.

Sun's Spire is known as where the Provin Dwarves descended from, their ancestors still existing and known as the "Sun Dwarves". The Sun Dwarves have gone pretty much insane from their only water source being the ocean. They often claim that the sun protects their region, when it really doesn't.
Sun's Spire surprisingly hasn't banned beasts from PhI as pets. (That actually might not be too surprising.) Fiends thankfully haven't infested the region, as their thicker fur often causes them to overheat when their fur grows in, if they are turned loose. Turpis are common pets, as they are easily domesticated. Daecus and normal orcus can be occasionally found, owned by the somewhat richer dwarves.
Unless you count the dwarves preaching about the sun and the occasional hostile creature, the Spire is surprisingly peaceful. Until you enter The Ring. The Ring's heat is for some reason far more intense than the land surrounding it, the heat even making the natives uncomfortable. The creatures that travel the desert ring are often smaller, lighter built, or the combination of the two.
Another beast that's mostly just a rumor is some sort of a giant. It's unclear what this beast may be, but the ones to claim to see it say it is covered in some sort of dark fur. Half claim this beast seems to be stalking them from a far distance, the other half claims this beast protects them from the serpent that swims through the sands.
The most well known, and confirmed to exist, is the sand serpent of the ring. It has claimed many lives of those who have attempted to explore The Ring, always emerging from the sands from beneath them or taking it's time by stalking them while half emerged or walking on it's six, spider-like, legs. Even though it has legs, it is still called the "Serpent of the Ring" because of it's snake-like appearance. Some claim to have been rescued from it by one of the other two rumored beasts. Those who claim to have been rescued by the giant claim the beasts began to battle right in front of them, this story often told by the dwarves in Provectus. Those rescued by the dragon-like beast claim it stays with them until the were near the Ring's exit, when it then vanished. They say the ring serpent refused to go near the small beast.
The Serpent of the Ring is can't detect anything under 75 lbs. It will not leave the ring or go near the edges. It can't detect anything that is off the sand. If it can see you, you are detectable. (Ex. The serpent is above sand while you're unhidden. You are detected if it sees you.)
Sun's Spire is neutral with all regions. Sun's Spire often trades crafted items with Provectus, Phantom Isles, and Palus, while they get the food that's impossible to grow back at home and a few pets from the Isles.

The ring has three beasts who stand out the most.
There's drake-like creature who normally evades being seen, yet is often credited for somehow protecting those who safely enter and then exit the desert unharmed. Very few believe this creature truly exists, as no one has actually seen it. Some claim to have seen it, they saying it appeared to be some sort of dragon. This beast remains a rumor, as those claims were rare. The beast is sometimes referred to as "Vigil".Another beast that's mostly just a rumor is some sort of a giant.
